The Electric Department's duties include:
- Changing out damaged and rotten utility poles.
- Running new services and building transformer banks for single or 3-phase
in order to supply electricity to residential & commercial customers. - Responding to customer outages in a timely manner.
- Trimming trees around and above power lines in order to minimize outages.
- Reading meters on a monthly basis.
- Strive to keep the City's distribution system in good operating condition at
all times.
