| Inspection |
A permit must be obtained for all construction projects within the City limits of Yoakum. This includes
Building and Development, Plumbing and Gas, Electrical, and Mechanical. A complete set of plans
and details, including site plans, must be submitted for determination of compliance with certain
Ordinances, Laws, Rules and Regulations. Residential plans should include drawings identifying the
types of materials that will be utilized and the size of the home and property. All projects must be
inspected by the City’s Code Enforcement Officer and/or any other authorized personnel.

| Below are links to the various construction permit applications from the City of Yoakum. Please be advised that just completing these forms does NOT constitute as approval of the permit. You must complete and sign the permit application and bring it to City Hall, 808 Hwy 77-A South for approval before you begin the project. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO BEGINNING YOUR PROJECT. |
