A compost should include three main ingredients: Browns - dead leaves, branches, and twigs; Greens - grass clippings, vegetable waste, fruit scraps, and coffee grounds; and Water These ingredients are very important for the compost development. The brown provides carbon, green provides nitrogen, and the water will provide moisture to breakdown the organic matter. |
