Payment Options Payment on or Before Court Date

1. Payments may be made in-person at:

Cash, Check, Credit Card or Money Order is accepted.

2. Payments may be mailed to:
City of Yoakum Municipal Court
PO Box 738
Yoakum, TX. 77995

•      Check or money order is accepted
  
•      Payments mailed must be received before the court appearance date
  
•      Incorrect payment amounts will be returned and the case will remain open
  
•      Citation number must be written on the check or money order
  
•      The courtesy letter, with a plea entered must be mailed with the payment

For fines assessed on traffic violations not listed on the fee schedule, or fines on moving violations that resulted in an accident, or general questions about your fines/fees, contact the Municipal Court Clerk during regular business hours, at (361) 293-6321 Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Failure to Appear (FTA) on Court Date

If you fail to appear in court as provided by law for the prosecution of your offense(s) or fail to properly dispose of your case, a warrant will be issued for your arrest, which will also carry a fine, warrant fee and court cost in addition to the cost of your
original offense.

Also, you will be denied renewal of your driver license, through TxDPS and a $30 processing fee to report your FTA to TxDPS will be added to the total charges.
