Highway 77-A serves as Yoakum’s major north/south corridor, connecting to Hwy. 183 just north of Cuero and to Hwy. 77 just west of Hallettsville. Hwy. 111 is the city’s east/west corridor, linking to Hwy. 183 to the west and crossing Hwy. 77 to the east. Hwy 77-A Business (Irvine Street) serves as the major retail corridor for the city.
