We invite everyone to join in on all of the fun the library has to offer throughout the summer. The summer reading and in-person educational programs begin on May 31st. All programs are held at the library and will be approximately 45 minutes (less or more at times), except on July 12th - this will be at the Grand Theater on West May St.

May 31st - AFTER in person program - FREE SNOW CONES TO GO
June 7th - 2:00 p.m. - Children's Musician, Staci Gray
June 14th - 2:00 p.m. - Comedy Juggler, Wink Danenberg
June 14th - 3:15 p.m. - How to Handle Stress for adults/crafts & games for kids ages 6+ (program by Midcoast Family Services)
June 21st - 2:00 p.m. - Real Mad Hatter Productions/Ventriloquist
June 28th - 2:00 p.m. - Cirque Artist, Corean Gonzales
July 4th - THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED ALL DAY
July 5th - 2:00 p.m. - Texas Snakes & More
July 12th - 2:00 p.m. - @ the GRAND THEATER - Great Promise for American Indians by the Austin PowWow - Concession stand will be open
July 14th - 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - FINAL DAY TO COLLECT PRIZES AND TURN IN READING LOGS
July 19th - 2:00 p.m. - Strawbitty Yops Musicians, Reading Awards, Ticket Drawings, Outdoor Petting Zoo, and Snow Cones or Popcorn - last day for programs
Reading Program Information:
Open to all ages - 0-199 who have a library card! Everyone has the opportunity to earn 3 prizes per timed reading level and a ticket to be placed in a drawing for 6/28 and/or 7/19. Please read more about this fantastic opportunity by downloading information about the program below.

NEW to the Library this summer:
* Binge Boxes - check out a box of 5-7 movies and receive a free pack of microwave popcorn to enjoy while you "binge watch" some good 'ole' movies.
* Pop-up activities at the craft table. There is something different each week; however, Wednesday's it will be closed due to in person programming.
* Make your mark of kindness on the library's sidewalks throughout the summer months with sidewalk chalk.
