Hours of Operation

We offer many convenient options for paying your utility bill:
* You may drop it by the office or drive thru during regular business hours
* A monthly bank draft may be set up (drafts are made by the 7th of each month) - Bank Draft Authorization Form
   You may bring this form into the utility offices, fax it in, or email to Tammie Harabis at ub@cityofyoakum.org
* We accept Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards (a convenience fee of 3.2% of the total bill will be added)
* Pay your bill online
* For after hours, a drop box is located at the drive thru window

* Residential Homeowners - NO deposit required - must present deed
Residential Utilities Service Application  
* Others (tenants) - $250.00 (includes electricity, water, sewer, and sanitation
* Commercial & Industrial - deposit is equivalent to one (1) month average bill using previous 12 months consumption
Commercial Utilities Service Application
* Deposit is returned at customer’s request if payment record is good for 36 consecutive months.  If customer does not request deposit be returned       or if payment record is not good, the deposit shall be held and applied against final bill.
