PUBLIC HEARING

A hearing of the Zoning Board of Adjustment has been scheduled for
Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 5:30 P.M. in the Conference Room of the City
Hall located at 808 Hwy 77A South, Yoakum, Texas for the purpose of
reviewing the following request for a variance from Chapter 52 - Zoning of
the City of Yoakum Code of Ordinances from:

(1)        Stuart Kalisek for a variance to the side yard setback requirements
as it pertains to Lots 1, 2 & 3 of Block 1035 of the Yoakum Townsite
Addition (for location reference only: 501 Nelson Street).

(2)        Ike & Isabel Aleman for a variance to the front yard setback
requirements as it pertains to Lot 6 of Block 1 of the Ehlers Addition (for
location reference only: 105 Koether Dr. #2).

Any party may appear in person or by agent or attorney to express an
opinion on the request for variance provided for in Section 52-276. (c) of
the cited ordinance.

The Yoakum Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will hold a public
hearing at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Yoakum City Hall Conference Room

proposed allocation of Type B Sales Tax funds.  The proposed funding will be utilized for
lot clearing and site construction of property within the 300 block of Irvine Street in an
amount exceeding $108,000.
